“Maybe Next Year” 3’x3’ original oil painting

Painted in 2020 (March-June)
the painting is 3’x3’ with a 1.8” thickness. The outer border has a rainbow painted around it. Local pickup around San Antonio (or TEXAS in general) is free! Domestic shipping is UPS, and will have a custom crate made to fit it for shipping.

I made this during a weird period of my life. I knew, mentally, that I needed to make moves for my own growth, but was unable to due to outside circumstances. Couldn’t come out, couldn’t move out, couldn’t go out. felt like I was forced into stagnation. I used this piece in my MFA application portfolio, and I really do think that it’s what got me into grad school. Super hard to let it go-I’m very attached to it, but I want to see it go to someone who will appreciate it.
